Ecocizer is a plasticizer developed from softeners used in bubble gum and is a safe food additive material listed in the United States FDA CFR 172.828 It is used in PVC additives to give plastic malleability. It is also used in PVC food wraps

The additives used in food packaging films are called, Antifogging agents, for the purpose of changing the hydrophobic plastic surface to a hydrophilic surface in order to prevent damage to the preserved products from water droplets and at the same time, improving visibility of the film.

Since most of agricultural films are LDPE and EVA which is hydrophobic, making the surface hydrophilic by using additives is a way to resolve the adverse effects by water droplets. Generally, additives that are applied to agricultural films for this purpose are called antifoggants/anti-fogging agents.
