Mikron’S was established in 2004 in Niğde, a region known for its high-purity Calcium Carbonate reserves. Utilizing advanced technology, the company increased its annual production capacity to 250,000 tons and operates its own mine. Under the TURKCARB® brand, Mikron’S began exporting and expanded its product range to include other industrial minerals such as Talc, Barite, Kaolin, and Mica. Its R&D activities are led by an experienced academic team focused on the functional use of industrial minerals, and both national and international quality management systems are implemented. The company continues to invest in the industrial minerals sector, with its second facility in Muğla dedicated primarily to Calcium Carbonate production and export.
