The Federation of Plastic Industrialists (PLASFED) was established on October 28, 2011, with the aim of uniting non-governmental organizations operating in Turkey’s plastics industry under one roof and developing joint solutions to the challenges faced by the sector. Since its foundation, PLASFED has represented approximately 1,700 industrialists who contribute significantly to the national economy, making it one of the largest and most influential organizations in Turkey’s plastics industry. Under its umbrella, PLASFED brings together eight member associations from major industrial centers such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Kayseri, and Denizli—showcasing one of the strongest examples of sectoral cooperation in the country. The Federation not only represents the Turkish plastics industry at the national level but also carries its vision to the international arena, working to ensure the sector has a strong and influential global presence.
