"We will add qualified value to the trade activities of the sector."
Bülent Ünal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tüyap Fairs, pointed out that Turkey is one of the leading countries in the field of trade fair organization despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic and that Turkey can add much more lasting value to our economy by taking advantage of the digital world. Ünal said, "As Tüyap Fair Organization, we have adapted to the digital world very easily. We have introduced the first contactless exhibition organization in Turkey. With MyTüyap, we have extended the reach of our trade fairs through the Business Connect program. Today, we will add qualified value to the commercial activities of the industry with our fair, where we bring together the plastics industry."

"Tüyap has been guiding the development of the plastics industry for 30 years."
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Foundation for the Plastics Industry (PAGEV), Yavuz Eroğlu, stressed that Tüyap had made a significant contribution to the development of the plastics industry for 30 years, saying, "We had the best fair in packaging this year. We will experience the same in plastics. Because there is no other country than Turkey that can produce and ship goods with the help of logistics and survive despite rising prices of raw materials. We have achieved a high technological level in machinery, equipment, and molds. Our potential is powerful. I strongly believe in the dynamism of Turkey. The plastics industry also has its share in this dynamism. We can contribute to Turkey's growth by joining forces with our committees, non-governmental organizations, and industry representatives. We are at a turning point in a time of great change. As PAGEV, we are training the technicians of the future plastics industry in our two schools. Together with our ministry, we recycle a significant amount of waste every year. Sustainability is no longer a luxury; it has become a debt to the world for all of us. The role of plastic in our lives is enormous. We try to explain this to our society. We are making efforts to solve our problems. We will support these efforts through our trade show, the largest gathering of our industry."

"We have met with great foreign interest and satisfaction at our fairs."
In his opening speech, President of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), İsmail Gülle, emphasized the green economy, green production, and digitalization in exports, saying, "The year 2021 is a groundbreaking time for both Turkey and the world in the context of exports. The continuation of our exports and production despite the pandemic has put our country in a different position. The encouragement received by our industrialists, manufacturers, and exporters at all our fairs makes us very proud. We have met with great foreign interest and satisfaction at all our fairs."

Latest technologies and products on display
The fair, which will exhibit the latest products and technologies in plastics, from plastics machinery to sub and intermediate industry products, from raw materials and chemicals to heat control equipment, will also be the venue for international cooperation with a high number of participants this year.

The plastics industry meets the new generation of exhibition experience
With digital solutions developed by Tüyap, exhibitors and visitors will come together digitally through the Business Connect Program, an online platform for business contacts. Thanks to this program, attendees, and visitors meet without interruption with online solutions offered during and after the show. Thanks to the Business Connect program, attendees can hold their pre-show scheduled meetings either digitally through the application or in person during the show. After the show, attendees can continue their meetings online between December 6 and 17. After the trade fair, registered visitors can use this platform to see potential customers, send them messages, and continue trading with them.
