Iran Carbon Co. (ICC) is a public joint-stock company and the pioneer and leading producer of industrial carbon black in Iran. Established in 1972 through a collaboration between the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), the Mine and Industry Development Bank, and Cabot Corporation of the USA, ICC began production in 1974 using oil furnace technology, one of the most widely adopted processes for carbon black manufacturing. The company operates two production units with a total installed capacity of 50,000 metric tons per year. With decades of manufacturing experience, technical capabilities, and a strong industrial foundation, Iran Carbon Co. plays a significant role in supplying the carbon black requirements of Iran and other foreign countries' tire and rubber industries.
