Plastay Kimya, founded in 1989 by Mehmet İsmet Sungur in Pendik Kurtköy, is today managed by the 2nd generation under Chairman Mustafa Sinan Sungur. With modern facilities in Gebze Güzeller OSB on 15,000 m² and an annual capacity of 60,000 tons, it is one of Turkey’s and the world’s leading producers of plasticizers, PVC granules and stabilizers. Over 50% of its production, including SUNFLEKS (DOTP), DOA, DOP, DINP and MEDX, is exported to more than 30 countries. As Plastay Group, it contributes to the economy with Plastay Kimya (plasticizers), Askim Stabilizer (stabilizers) and Tayplas Kimya (granules). Since 2007, production has complied with REACH standards. With strong R&D and innovation focus, Plastay has achieved major successes, breaking export records in organic chemicals and winning numerous awards, including İKMİB’s 2020 2nd prize and “Most Successful Businessman of the Year” for Chairman Mustafa Sinan Sungur.
