Product Description
Within the XLPE range, XLPE-W5 is a flexible Sioplas silane-crosslinkable polyethylene insulation compound developed for low-voltage energy cables. It is used with the CAT 10/AOX catalyst and antioxidant system. It complies with IEC 60502 requirements. After crosslinking with 5% CAT 10/AOX in hot water at 90 °C for 6 hours, it offers tensile strength >15 MPa, elongation at break >750% and no cracking in cold bending at -40 °C.
