The Turkish Plastics and Composite Industry exhibits a successful performance by growing above our country s economy every year and is on its way to becoming a global player with its production capacity. However, as our sector grows, naturally its problems also increase. Leading associations of the Turkish Plastics and Composites Industry, which continues to rise to a globally influential position, believing that all non-governmental organizations operating in their fields should cooperate and join forces under one roof in order to solve the problems affecting the future of our industry, 28.10. They came together in 2011 and established the sector s federation (PLASFED). Thus, the Turkish Plastics and Composite Industry has a world-class structure in terms of organization. PLASFED represents 8 associations established throughout Turkey, has approximately 1750 industrialists and continues its activities as the umbrella board of the sector.
