PP (Polypropylene) compounds are versatile plastic materials produced by polymerizing propylene gas, known for their strength, chemical resistance, and long-term durability. Homopolymer PP is made solely from propylene monomers, offering superior strength and high-temperature resistance, while copolymer PP combines propylene with other monomers, providing enhanced impact resistance and flexibility. PP compounds resist acids, bases, and many solvents, feature a high melting point, are lightweight, and do not absorb moisture, making them suitable for moisture-sensitive applications.
