Gravimetric dosing system

Gravimetric blenders are designed for the precise dosing of plastic materials with different properties in the desired ratio and for mixing them within the same unit. In this way, a homogeneous mixture of raw materials with dimensional differences is achieved according to the required weight ratio. The American company Maguire, the inventor of these systems called “Blenders,” is the only firm in the plastics industry that has produced more than 50,000 units for all types of injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding applications. There are two screen options available: touchscreen and standard display. With a capacity range of 10 kg/h to 6000 kg/h, and equipped with different dosing units for granules, powders, and regrind, the systems can blend up to 12 types of raw materials with nearly 120 different models. A dosing accuracy of 0.1% of 1% of the total mixture capacity can be achieved. High weighing accuracy is ensured with the vibration control algorithm. In addition, with G2 Material Tracking Software, full ERP and MRP integration is possible.
