LI 28 (Lithium Stearate) is the lithium salt of stearic acid. This metal soap, in the form of a white, fine powder, is used as a lubricant and mold release agent in high-temperature greases and in the plastic and rubber industries. It is insoluble in water, heat-resistant, and water-repellent.
