Product Description
Urea, also known as carbamide, is an organic compound with the chemical formula CO(NH2)2. This amide has two NH2- groups linked by a carbonyl functional group (C = O). It is a white, odorless solid, highly soluble in water, and almost nontoxic. A solution of urea in water is neither acidic nor alkaline. Urea is used in fertilizers as a source of nitrogen (N) and is an important raw material for many chemical industries.
