POM (Polyoxymethylene, also known as Polyacetal), commonly referred to as "Acetal" or "Delrin", is an engineering plastic with excellent performance characteristics, widely used in mechanical, automotive, electronic, and electrical fields. Its high mechanical strength, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and ease of machining make it an ideal material for many industrial components. However, it should be noted that POM is not resistant to strong acids and decomposes at high temperatures.
