Product Description

Stearic acid is a saturated long-chain fatty acid (C08H³6O²). It is widely used in the production of plastics, rubber, cosmetics, paints, and metal soaps. It serves as a lubricant, mold release agent, and indirect stabilizer in PVC formulations. It is also a key raw material in the production of metal soaps such as calcium or zinc stearate.
