CONICAL TWIN SCREW GEARBOX

The SZL conical twin-screw extruder gearbox is a dedicated mechanical transmission device matched with conical twin-screw extruders. This product is improved based on the SZ twin-screw series, with an integrated design of the distribution box and transmission box, featuring advantages such as a compact structure and convenient installation and commissioning. This device can transmit the power of the main motor, after speed reduction and torque increase by the transmission box, to the long shaft of the distribution box, and then drive the short shaft through a pair of small bevel helical gears with a 1:1 transmission ratio. The long and short shafts, at the same angle as the screws, drive the screws to extrude and form in a counter-rotating manner. All gears are made of high-strength high-quality alloy steel, subjected to precision gear grinding after carburizing and quenching, with a gear precision of above grade 6 and a tooth surface hardness of HRC54–62. The box body is made of high-quality ductile iron, and undergoes sufficient stress relief treatment after casting, resulting in high box strength and an attractive appearance. All oil seals are imported products, and the high-speed shaft adopts double sealing treatment of oil seal and mechanical seal, resulting in a low oil leakage rate. An external forced lubrication and brazed plate heat exchanger are used, making the cooling and lubrication system reliable, with low operating temperature and convenient daily maintenance.
