Thermoplastic elastomers are defined in the ASTM D1566 standard as a group of rubber-like materials that, unlike vulcanized conventional rubber materials, can be processed and recycled like thermoplastic materials. Thermoplastic Elastomers do not require curing or vulcanization during processing and can be processed with traditional thermoplastic techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding.
Elastron V is the brand name of cross-linked EPDM based thermoplastic elastomer vulcanizates. Elastron V (TPV) grades have excellent mechanical properties in order to meet our customers expectations such as sustainability of quality, flexibility and low compression set.
Elastron G are thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds based on SEBS (Styrene Ethylene Butylene Styrene) which shows some of rubber properties at ambient temperature. And they can be processed with various methods such as injection, extrusion or blow moulding. Additionally, Elastron G has been especially created for marketing demands and meeting customer requirements.
