The Oerlikon HRSflow multi-cavity line, now branded as MULTIflow HRS®, is engineered for demanding low shot-weight parts ranging from 0.5 to 120 grams. It is ideal for applications in packaging, caps and closures, beauty and personal care, medical components, and technical parts. The T-Flow HRS is an advanced thermal multi-zone controller, ensuring precise and reliable temperature control for hot runners in injection molding machines. This versatile solution supports both standard systems and the most complex configurations. It offers a range of options, with 6 to 120 heating zones available in increments of 6. FLEXflow HRS is a servo-driven valve gate system designed for the independent adjustment of each valve pin, providing precise control of stroke and force during the opening and closing phases. This solution ensures accurate, easy-to-operate, and flexible management of pressure and flow rates at each individual gate during the injection process. Equipped with an advanced control unit for setting and monitoring valve pin positions, FLEXflow HRS guarantees high-quality part performance, a wider process window, process reliability, repeatability, and the ability to reduce wall thickness. Potential applications include emerging trends such as back injection of films, smart automotive surfaces, and lighting solutions. FLEXflow HRS is also well-suited for family molds, offering significant cost savings compared to conventional sequential injection systems.
The efficient and high-end continuous polycondensation plants of Oerlikon Barmag Huitong Engineering (OBHE) produce a homogenous melt using a chemical reaction which transfers different monomers into polymers. During this process, side products such as water are created. A high-end melt like this is the basis for high-quality yarn used for fiber-grade and bottle-grade polyester.
