As a halogen-free flame retardant, MC series is suitable for PA6, PA66, PET, TPE, EVA, PE, silicone rubber, epoxy resin and rubber products. It has low application cost, excellent electrical and mechanical and good pigmenting properties.
It is a halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinates. The full name is Aluminum Diethyl Phosphinate. This flame retardant is a kind of white powder or masterbatch, an organic phosphonic acid salt. It is not hydrolyzed, not precipitated, has good self-extinguishing properties into carbon. It is suited as flame retardant for thermoplastics and thermosets. It has high phosphorus content, good thermal stability and excellent flame retardant efficiency.
It can be used in textile coating, intumescent fireproof coatings and thermoset resins, such as polyurethane, UP resin and epoxy resin. It can also be used in the retardant of fiber, wood, rubber and plastic products. Due to its high molecular weight(n>1000) and good heat stability, APP can be used as main ingredient of expanding retardant thermoplastic.,especially used in the PP achieving UL94-V0 for electronic unit.
Mainly used in polyamide, especially PA6, PA66, glass fiber-reinforced PA6, PA66 and PBT, ect. Nylon containing it can be used in all kinds of injection and extrusion process, and meet all kinds of processing demands of polyamide and glass fiber polyamide.
