Green transformation in industry is of vital importance to ensure environmental sustainability and combat climate change. Most traditional industrial practices are based on processes with high environmental impacts such as resource consumption, energy use and carbon emissions. Green transformation is an approach that includes the adoption of innovative technologies, efficiency measures and sustainable production methods. This transformation supports goals such as waste reduction, renewable energy use, energy efficiency and protection of water resources. Adopting green transformation in industry contributes to the creation of a more sustainable future by providing both environmental and economic benefits. PAGÇEV, the Turkish Plastics Industrialists Research, Development and Education Foundation Recycling Economic Enterprise, is a non-profit organization established to collect packaging waste separately at the source and recycle it. On January 3, 2014, it was assigned by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of the Republic of Turkey to operate for all types of packaging and became the 3rd Authorized Institution of Turkey. PAGÇEV Green Transformation and Technology Association, founded by a team inspired by the work and successes of PAGÇEV as a Recycling Economic Enterprise, will take these studies even further and carry out studies that will bring our country to a pioneering position in green transformation.
